Can you clean sofas and mattresses?
Yes. Sofas, armchairs, dining chairs and mattresses are cleaned with extraction equipment matched to the fabric. An industry guide is £45–£120 per item, depending on its size, material and condition. Bundling several pieces usually lowers the cost per item.

What it is
Fabric decides the method. Not the other way round.
Upholstery is less forgiving than carpet. A cotton-linen sofa cover, a velvet armchair and a foam mattress each want a different amount of water, a different chemistry and a different drying approach. Treat all three the same and you get shrinkage, watermarks or a cushion that is still damp two days later.
So the first thing we do is check the fabric and the manufacturer's code, then pick the method — hot extraction where the fabric can take it, low-moisture where it cannot. Mattresses get particular attention because they hold years of skin, sweat and dust mites, and they are the one thing in the house nobody ever cleans.

Often yes, using a low-moisture method rather than hot extraction. We patch test first, and if the fabric will not take cleaning safely we will tell you and not charge you for finding out.
Usually a few hours for upholstery and a little longer for a thick mattress. We leave air moving over it and give you a realistic time before we go.
In most cases, because the smell lives in the fabric and padding we are extracting from. Where urine has soaked into foam it can be permanent, and we will say so rather than take the money twice.
